OPENING DAY MARCH 23, 2024

We are all excited to see the teams take the field and represent the three tenets which have persisted for over 80 years in Little League: Courage, Character, and Loyalty. This year, we also celebrate “Girls with Game” the 50th Anniversary of Women in Little League.

Here’s how we will get CRLL’s season underway:

● 8:00 am - Teams start lining-up on Murieta Parkway

● 9:00 am - Parade starts moving

● 10:00 (ish) - Opening Day Ceremony, followed by CRLL hosted lunch, served with love from Kiwanis

● 12:00 pm - First games begin at Stonehouse Park

● Approx. 1:00pm - Snack Shack opens

Reminders for all families and guests:

● No water guns or water balloons in the parade

● Throwing candy from parade trucks is fine, but NO chocolate (per RMA guidelines)

● NO alcoholic beverages in or around the parade staging area, trucks, spectator areas, or at the park

● NO GOLF CARTS around the fields, basketball courts, snack shack, etc. at Stonehouse Park between the hours of 7 AM and 4 PM on Opening Day

● Enjoy the festivities! Cheer for all the teams and volunteers!

CRLL “GOOD CITIZEN” FIELDS REMINDER - In the event of rain and mushy fields, closures are posted on our website. We ask that managers and coaches respect the closures, as well as families. It is amazing how even a pair of dad’s shoes and junior’s cleats can leave tracks and damage the infield and outfield areas. Thank you!

GAME SCHEDULE - The game schedule has been distributed and is posted on Sports Engine for the entire season. You can also view the schedule by clicking on the Teams '24 link above and select your team for schedule information.

THANK YOU - Many thanks our board members who have worked to make March 23rd a fun day for the Cosumnes River Little League community. Special Thanks to RMA Maintenance Department, Kiwanis, Mule Creek Honor Guard, Sac Metro Fire, Sacramento Sheriff and our Flyover Team. If you would like to join in behind the scenes, don’t hesitate to reach out to one of our board members.

See you on Opening Day!

2024 Youth Umpire Registration Now Open

Join the fun and be a part of this cool and exciting group of young leaders while earning extra spending money!  Cosumnes River Little League provides boys and girls of at least 13 years of age the opportunity to umpire its games including softball and AA, AAA, and Major division baseball games.  This is an exceptional opportunity for young people who know and love the game of baseball to gain experience in a position of responsibility and work at their first real paying job.  For active players, umpiring can be a great way to enhance your understanding of the rules of baseball and how they are applied in game situations.  It is also a fun way to stay involved in baseball if you're no longer playing.  Umpiring also looks good on a college application because it requires many of the qualities colleges look for: leadership, confidence and the ability to make decisions under pressure.  CRLL umpires are compensated for their services, and thus are expected to approach their role as professionals.  As umpires, they have the final ruling on all aspects of the game.  They are the king of the diamond!

Cosumnes River Little League is looking for youth umpires that love baseball and softball, understand and accept the responsibilities of the job, while being a big important part of the league.  With over a dozen games every week and two umpires per game, there are a lot of opportunities.

Click on the registration link to join.

LEAGUE AGE CALCULATOR

Your player’s league age is determined by the Little League Baseball® and Little League Softball® Age Charts. The dates for baseball and softball are different, but each determines the division in which your Little Leaguer will play this season. The Age Determination Date for a Little League Baseball player is the actual age of a child on August 31 of the current year. The Age Determination Date for a Little League Softball player is the actual age of a child on December 31 of the previous year.

The Registration "Home" is not currently available.
